The Statera Foundation Conference – My interview with Sam White

I have just spent the past few hours editing and uploading my interview with Sam White, founder and Executive Director of Shakespeare in Detroit to You Tube.

There is no question that meeting Sam and hearing her story was the highlight of the conference for me personally.

I will be writing an in depth report on the conference for the Shakespeare Standard over the coming days.

But I wanted to highlight Sam and her work on my personal blog today while still feeling the glow of her words.

Like most native born Detroiters, just about everything I have read in the news about my hometown has been negative these past few years.

Sams passion, clarity, and unbridled joy was so palpable as we talked, that I just had to share her words today.
