IKE: My sister lives in a suburb of Houston and is hunkered down waiting for the storm. I called her this afternoon and she said they are ready, not evacuating. She said her community was told to stay put and just wait it out. She is pregnant with her fourth child and told me that her biggest concern was the aftermath.
Her husband is home with her and they have a generator and plenty of food and water. It was good to hear her voice. We are praying for her and her family and all of those affected by this storm.
