Well, it’s not like this is a shock to any of us on the Right — and it’s not as if other Democrats haven’t been saying the same thing, even if a bit sotto voce. The class-warfare arguments have always based themselves on the idea that government should exist to redistribute wealth from haves to have-nots, although one has to marvel at Howard Dean suddenly becoming concerned that we may tip a little to closely to Europe in our approach.  Do class warriors often get caught talking about disincentives like this?
