Reid apologizes for ‘no Negro dialect’ comment

“Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada described in private then-Sen. Barack Obama as “light skinned” and “with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one.” Obama is the nation’s first African-American president.”

Assumption being that if Obama used a Negro dialect all the time, whatever that is, then he would not be able to serve as president.  No JIVE TALKIN’ allowed, according to Harry Reid.

And if Reid is going to dump on Barack changing his dialect based on who is in the audience, he should point out that Hillary Clinton likes to talk jive to black audiences too:
